The 23rd Street Association is a sponsor of the 13th Precinct's annual National Night Out Against Crime. The 23rd annual National Night Out will take place on Tuesday, August 1st at the JHS 104 Playground, located at 2nd Avenue between 20th and 21st Streets, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM

This year's event will feature representatives from the NYPD's Mounted, Canine and Emergency Service Units demonstrating some of the tools and equipment that they use.

A DJ will play music while attendees visit various exhibitor tables and enjoy free food and drinks provided by local establishments. In addition, an area of the playground will be set aside for children's games and activities.
