23rd Street Association, in conjunction with Eneslow, is pleased to announce a seminar on the care of your feet: "How to Improve Posture, Balance, and Gait." Attendees at this session learned how to improve weak and injured muscles in MBT footwear. Speakers included Robert Schwartz, CEO of Eneslow, Jacy Hibbard, MBT USA Academy Manager, and Lisa Priestly, MBT Mindful Walking Fitness trainer.
Some of the main points included learning how to stand and walk more efficiently; strengthening core muscles using an MBT; and learning exercises to improve posture, balance, and gait. Each attendee received a free iStep computer pedorthic assessment, pressure and size evaluations, and footwear and orthotic recommendations.
Robert S. Schwartz, Certified Pedorthist, President, CEO of Eneslow Pedorthic Enterprises, Inc., is currently an adjunct instructor in the department of orthopedic sciences at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine (NYCPM). Mr. Schwartz serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the 23rd Street Association.
