There's only a few days left to save money on CFLs! Through October 15 on the GreeNYC website, http://www.nyc.gov/greenyc, you can download a $1 coupon for any GE Energy Smart, Energy Star qualified compact fluorescent light bulb. CFLs last ten times longer and use up to 75% less energy than a traditional incandescent bulb.

The GreeNYC website is also a great starting point for learning how to be a green New Yorker, with practical and easy tips on how to reduce your personal carbon footprint. You can help support the Mayor's carbon reduction plan by making a few easy changes at home and the CFL coupon is a wallet-friendly way to start.

For more information on how to conserve energy, visit the Association's Waste Not, Want Not page.
