The Speed of Trust: The One Thing That Changes Everything By Stephen M. R. Covey
Covey
states that trust is not just a soft social virtue, it's a hard edged
economic driver. When there is trust among people, the speed of
business increases and the cost goes down. Now what salesperson
wouldn't want business to close faster and have fewer costs to make it
happen? What business owner wouldn't like to see products and services
get into the hands of customers in less time with more profit to the
bottom line?
So, please come, join the discussion, and invite
your friends, associates and customers. This will position you as a
thought leader and earn the respect of the people you invite.

Waste Not, Want Not
City Council Passes Bill for Recycling of Plastic Bags
On Wednesday The City Council overwhelmingly passed a
bill requiring the recycling of plastic bags by stores of 5,000 square
feet or larger, as well as all branches of chains with more than five
locations in the city. The stores must provide recycling bins
in prominent places in-store.
Pending any objections from Mayor Michael Bloomberg, New York City will be the largest American
city to enact such legislation even though this country uses an
estimated 86 billion bags a year.
