As we get to the end of 2007, we wanted to take this chance to say thank you to all you who have supported our efforts over the past year to improve the urban environment of New York City. Whether you attended Citysol, a Green Renter lecture, an arts performance, brought a class to Solar 1 or made a donation, you have helped make this our best and brightest year to date. So:
Thank you!
We're already planning to bring you even more great events, information and campaigns in 2008, so stay tuned to our newsletter for announcements. And in the meantime, all the best for a happy holiday and a peaceful and sustainable New Year.
Best Wishes, The Solar One Staff (Chris C., Jamie, Melissa, Chris N., Sarah, Chris K., Dina, Maya, Bill, Marc, Tamar, Pauline and Chris F.)

| Help Make Our 2007 Year-End Appeal a Big Success!
This year's Appeal is focussed on our newest initiative: I Heart PV, a grassroots campaign aimed at getting New York to embrace policies that would best encourage the expansion of solar electric (or "PV" - photovoltaic) capacity in NYC. Solar power has broad potential for New York City - capable of providing over 7,700 MW of electricity by one estimate - and true to our name, we believe that this city can become a leader in the deployment of this distributed, renewable technology to help reduce the burden on our overtaxed electrical grid, lower emissions of greenhouse gases and spur economic development.
I © PV will build a broad citywide constituency capable of effectively urging our leadership to remove unnecessary obstacles, and expand and introduce new incentives to help spur PV market development on a scale that is proportional to the city's potential. To help us achieve the goals of the I © PV program and all of our programs, we are hoping you will make a year-end, tax-deductible contribution to Solar One of whatever size you deem appropriate. Our goal is to raise $50,000 through this appeal to enable us to hire a full-time coordinator for the project and we hope that you will support this important initiative.
On behalf of all of us at Solar One, we wish you a healthy and happy holiday season. We look forward to seeing you during 2008.
