Join Waste Not-Want Not, an initiative of 23rd Street Community Projects 501(c)3, as it presents its Humanitarian Award of 2008 to Wayne Esley, creator and founder of the internationally recognized Soles4Souls foundation:

Free | Admission to this event is a minimum of one pair of gently worn shoes. Donors will receive a $10.00 discount coupon for a replacement set of new shoes, plus enable them to purchase raffles tickets that could provide them a free pair of shoes valued up to $475.00.
Soles4Souls collects used and new shoes, from all sources, and distributes them, free of charge to needy people who are survivors of disasters such as the Asian Tsunami, Africa and to other countries throughout the world.
Sole4Souls has designated June 1 through June 7, 2008 as National Barefoot Week. Eneslow and corporate sponsors The Clarks Companies, N.A. and Springboost will be part of this special national event benefiting the needy and less fortunate. |
