ConEd Watersite Property Hearing
Community Board 6

A City-hosted hearing about redeveloping the Con Ed watersite property was held yesterday, September 20th. Specifically, discussion and presentations focused on the process of considering rezoning the nine acre site of the former Con Ed plants on First Avenue between 35th and 41st Streets. The Developer is proposing that seven buildings, ranging from 37-69 stores, be constructed.  This plan will add over 10,000 residents and over 7,000 employees to the area. A signicant amount of parking space will also be required.

Please call Community Board 6 at 212-319-3750 with any questions. The Association is, of course, following this issue closely, so check our newsletters for updates.
